Formerly Hridhayam

Hridhayam is now JustThen

Hridhayam, the dating app for Malayalis that launched on the App Store in January 2023, is now called JustThen. It is the same app on the same App Store and Google Play listings, made in Kerala by the same developer. If you had Hridhayam installed, you already have JustThen, with the same account.

ഹൃദയം ഡേറ്റിംഗ് ആപ്പിന്റെ പുതിയ പേരാണ് JustThen. ആപ്പും അക്കൗണ്ടും അതുതന്നെ.

Why the new name

Hridhayam (ഹൃദയം, "heart" in Malayalam) began as a dating app only for Malayalis. When the app opened to everyone, it needed a name that works for anyone, so it became JustThen. Malayalis are still at the heart of it.

What stayed the same

• The app itself: the same App Store listing (id 6444903823) and the same Google Play listing.
• Your account, profile, matches and chats. An app update changed the name; nothing had to be reinstalled.
• Made in Kerala, by the same developer, Novablooms.
• Malayali members still get Kerala-flavoured prompts and Malayalam content.

What JustThen is today

JustThen is a free dating app for people who want a real connection rather than endless swiping, on both iPhone and Android. Matching weighs personality as well as photos, and profiles are verified before they appear. Ways to get to know someone include ordinary messages, voice notes, love letters and Vibe Check, an opt-in voice intro where you see a first name only, photos stay hidden, and it becomes a match only if you both send a Vibe. The plain facts are on About JustThen, and our comparison of dating apps for Malayalis sets out how it differs from Arike, Aisle and others.
